Misty Buckley is a Production Designer for live touring shows, TV and large scale events. She was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Stormzy at Glastonbury Festival and nominated multiple times for an Emmy Award for her Grammys 2021 production design and Disney’s Little Mermaid Live respectively. She has also won Set Designer of the Year at the TPI Awards on three separate occasions.
Misty’s experience includes designs for large scale ceremonies such as Coldplay’s 2016 Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show, London 2012 Paralympics Closing Ceremony and the 2015 Rugby World Cup Opening Ceremony at Twickenham Stadium.
She has designed world tours and productions for artists including Coldplay, Stormzy, Ariana Grande and Take That. Her television credits include numerous productions for the BBC and ITV including several live music charity events. Misty created the annual production design for the Brit Awards between 2017-2020, celebrating it’s 40th anniversary. Some of her recent work includes Coldplay: Music of the Spheres World Tour, Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony and the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.
